Call for Participation in "Da Vinci’s Pawnshop"

Contribute your art, music, performances, deco projects, theme camps and creative ideas

Boston Decompression is getting into the pawnshop game, and to succeed we’ll need to secure a loan of your valuables - namely your art, music, performances, deco projects, theme camps and creative ideas! Ours is an all volunteer-driven event relying completely on participant contributions, so if you have some art, some performance, some fun idea you’d like to contribute, please follow the appropriate link or send an email to the address as specified below. Let’s make this renaissance for the rest of us a reality!

A Word on Transportation Efforts

Holding Boston Decompression in Worcester poses logistical challenges for our Planning Committee, our artists and our participant attendees. To help navigate this our Transportation Committee is working on setting up various solutions, including: round-trip bussing between Boston and Worcester, round-trip shuttle between the Worcester “T” stop and the venue for commuter rail riders, and an event rideshare board resource; in addition to collecting and coalescing all transport information, train times, bus schedules etc. into one place for easy reference. We will be posting all of this information in a separate announcement once it’s been finalized. Additionally we will be organizing a community art truck to transport art to and from the venue.

Ticketing Soon

An announcement about the opening of ticket sales will be coming very soon!

Art Grants Very Soon

Boston Decompression and Black Rock East will be awarding art grants for new projects, existing projects, and performance needs. The art grant submission form will be announced and opened very soon. If you need financial help bringing your contribution to  Da Vinci’s Pawnshop apply for a grant.

Best,

2016 Boston Decompression Planning Committee
